About Me

I’m looking for a permanent or temporary contract in embedded and real-time systems starting on Mid-March 2017.
I've been pursuing my Master's Degree in Computer Sciences at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne, where I have focused my studies on Embedded & Real-time Systems. Autonomous systems, IoT and the Maker mouvement are all a passion of mine.Indeed, I believe the consumer electronics world is becoming more and more transparent with products that learn and act differently according to users and their environment.
I am an enthusiastic person who works hard and pays strong attention to details. I grasp new concepts and ideas quickly with a terrific eager to learn from others.
If you believe I could fit into your team, drop me an email!

Prefer Ltd
apr. 2016 - may. 2016
Wellington, New-Zealand

During my 6-month study break, I had the chance to work at Prefer for a 2-month contract. I've been involved in two consecutive projects related to Web Development.

My first mission was to update the Tutrust application based on the Zend Framework. Most of my work was to set up the project so next developers could start working on the application quickly and reliably. In other words, I set up a Continuous Integration process and automated the on-boarding process with a Vagrant box.

I also took the lead on the design, development and deployment of a REST API based on Lumen (Laravel micro-framework) and Dingo.

The Balios™ sensor is the first product of Equisense, a French start-up with the ambition to improve riders’ workout experiences with the help of technology. Balios™ is a device that attaches to the girth of the saddle. It provides feedback on the horse’s well-being during training sessions as well as training data that can be used to analyze the rider’s progress, both short and long-term.

My mission was to develop, as a member of the firmware team, some of the features embedded in the tracker. I deal with PWM, ADC, SPI, 9-axis sensor and DSP processing. Motion algorithms were given by the scientific team and adapted to the ARM Cortex M4 microprocessor.

We launched a Kickstarter fund raising. It was a great worldwide success. Follow and support us at Balios, a wearable connecting rider and horse

Work4 is a startup that develops a recruitment application on Facebook, one of the largest social network in the world. This application is used by small and large enterprises and allows them to offer jobs directly from their Facebook page. Work4 offers a paid contract that supports automatic import job offers customers in the application and export of candidates directly in the customer's system.

The team in which I work is called ImpEx team. The work of the team is to write imports plugins that will allow JobPipe, the developed software that automates import, recover our clients' job offers. And also to write exports plugins that will allow the exports framework to automatically sends the candidates in the customer's site with a report automatically generated.

JobPipe is a complete software that has been the subject of a patent application and which possesses a rapid development cycle: from the tasks I had to do there were also JobPipe tasks. JobPipe is very versatile and scalable: it has a Web interface (UI JobPipe) on which I have worked a little.

JobPipe conducts 3 steps: Import the job offers customers in its database, transform the jobs so that they have the correct format for the application, and export jobs to the application. This consists of spiders (Scrapy specific term) that will crawl customer's site and extract the necessary information for each job. The transformations use rules defined in JobPipe to format jobs so that they are properly used and displayed by the application.

At the early stage of startup creation we need a proof-of-concept in order to evaluate the feasibility of a product. So with a couple of mates we decided to develop a tracker for the equestrian sports like Withings did for the human sports.

As a developer, my main responsibilities were to prototype, design and implement an early stage proof-of-concept. The prototype was based on a Arduino, it samples data from 3 sensors (9 DoF). Raw data is stored on a SD card that is later read on computer and processed using tool such as Matlab.

We managed to recognise interesting signal footprints. Logic could easily be embedded on some more powerful boards with best microprocessor unit.

The objectives of our mandate was to maintain turnover above 100 k€, reduce training time members, provide specific micro-training, strengthen the quality system in place in the SISQ Black OPS project and sustain the association with a controlled and efficient recruitment.

My mission was to monitor internal quality and studies. I also participated in continuous improvement of the Quality Management System through the rise of nonconformities and implementation of processes and procedures.

First steps in the world of Junior Enterprises.

My missions were:

  • manage IT equipment of J. E.
  • manage user accounts and mail
  • maintain accessibility of services (Nuxeo, GitLab, Mail, LDAP, Apache)
  • perpetuate the structure ensuring backups
  • protect data and accounts

To achieve these goals I:

  • installed Debian 7 on a private server
  • linked a LDAP Directory to a mail server with anti-virus and anti-spam filter
  • created a web service to handle the directory and a JSON API to communicate
  • installed a document management system with the open source solution Nuxeo Plateform
  • installed a versioning server based on Git with the open source solution Gitlab
